Job Title: Business Development Manager
Location: Southwest Office – Taunton
Salary: Competitive, with performance-based bonuses. Final package dependent on experience.
Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm with 1-hour lunch
The Role
As a Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in driving business growth by identifying new opportunities,
building strategic relationships, and expanding market presence within the architectural and construction sectors.
You will work closely with architects, developers, contractors, and private clients to promote premium glazing solutions and
secure high-value projects.
Key Responsibilities
As a Business Development Manager, you will:
• Maintain regular verbal contact with key clients and customers, ensuring the organisation remains a top choice
when specifying glazing solutions.
• Build and strengthen relationships through meetings, networking and ongoing communication.
• Identify and target key B2B clients to arrange meetings and CPD seminars, both in person and online.
• Prepare and deliver engaging CPD sessions, sales presentations and project proposals.
• Organise and host meetings and visits to the glazing design studio in Amersham.
• Research and develop new relationships with architects, contractors, developers and other industry specifiers to
support revenue growth.
• Generate new opportunities for the sales team.
• Collaborate with the marketing team and contribute to marketing strategy development.
• Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities and client interactions using CRM systems.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer feedback to help inform business strategy.
About You
We are looking for a target-driven individual with proven experience in business development, ideally within the
construction, glazing, or architectural sectors.
You will need:
• A collaborative and team-oriented approach.
• Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A proactive and self-motivated attitude with a passion for design and innovation.
• The ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
• A full UK driving licence.
