Job Description: Order Processor

Location: Northampton, Northamptonshire, Office-based (with occasional site visits)

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8am – 4.30pm

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Order Processor to join our operations team. This role is pivotal in ensuring

that every customer order is processed with precision, attention to detail, and in line with industry standards.

The successful candidate will have extensive fenestration industry knowledge and be able to interpret technical

drawings, process complex bespoke orders, and liaise with both internal teams and suppliers. While primarily

office-based, you may be required to attend customer sites with a surveyor to ensure accuracy and clarity on

project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and check customer orders for windows, doors, conservatories, orangeries, verandas, soffits,

fascias, and guttering.

• Accurately interpret surveyor reports, drawings, and specifications.

• Liaise with customers, suppliers, and the installations team to confirm details and resolve queries.

• Ensure orders are compliant with manufacturing and installation requirements.

• Maintain accurate records of all orders in line with company procedures.

• Work closely with surveyors and project managers to deliver smooth customer journeys from enquiry

through to installation.

• Support the wider office team with administration tasks when required.

Skills & Experience Required

• Minimum 15 years’ experience in the fenestration/home improvement industry.

• In-depth knowledge of all window and door types, conservatories, orangeries, and veranda systems.

• Strong understanding of fascia, soffit, and guttering (FSG) products and installation methods.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Highly organised with great attention to detail.

• Proficient in IT systems (experience with order processing software desirable).

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a busy office environment.

• Professional, friendly, and customer-focused attitude.

Why Join Us?

• Work with a trusted and established brand in the home improvement sector.

• Be part of a team that values quality, integrity, and personal service over high-pressure sales.

• Opportunity to work with a company that invests in the latest technology and keeps ahead of industry

trends.

• A friendly, professional working environment with a strong team ethos.
