Job Title: Learning and development trainer

Job Type: Full-time

Location: Liverpool, Enfield, Southampton, Nuneaton, Glasgow

Role Overview

As a learning and development trainer you will be responsible for delivering both practical and theoretical

training, conducting assessments, and overseeing the accreditation process for new, existing, and external

learners. This role involves developing individuals to meet industry and company standards, managing learner

progress, and ensuring the efficient operation of the training centre. You will also support the creation and

continuous improvement of training materials, maintaining alignment with organisational goals and industry

best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging practical and theory-based training sessions

• Assess learner competence and progress, maintaining accurate records of performance and outcomes

• Support the accreditation process, ensuring all learners meet required standards

• Manage day-to-day operations of the training centre, ensuring a professional and effective learning

environment

• Develop and maintain up-to-date training materials to reflect evolving practices and procedures

• Adhere to both client and company guidelines when delivering accredited training programs

• Represent the training function professionally, providing guidance and expertise to staff at all levels
