About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Buyer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for
sourcing and purchasing high-quality aluminium products, components, and materials for both residential and commercial
projects. You will work closely with suppliers, internal teams, and project managers to ensure timely delivery, cost efficiency,
and quality standards are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities:
• Source and purchase aluminium products, windows, doors, and related materials from approved suppliers.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to negotiate pricing, terms, and lead times.
• Monitor stock levels and place orders in line with project schedules and sales forecasts.
• Evaluate supplier performance, ensuring delivery, quality, and service standards are met.
• Collaborate with internal teams to understand project requirements, specifications, and deadlines.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, including purchase orders, invoices, and supplier documentation.
• Stay updated on market trends, new products, and innovations in aluminium systems and commercial/residential
glazing solutions.
• Support cost-saving initiatives and procurement process improvements.
Requirements:
• Previous experience in a procurement or buying role, preferably in construction, building materials, or aluminium
products.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Knowledge of aluminium window, door, curtain walling, or commercial glazing systems is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; experience with procurement software is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
