Job Title: Senior Technical Processor / Technical Director

Location: Watford, Hertfordshire

Salary: £50,000–£70,000 per annum (DOE) + Bonus + Future Directorship Opportunity

Overview

A specialist aluminium fabricator is seeking an experienced and technically proficient individual to

join the team as a Senior Technical Processor, with a clear pathway to a Technical Director role

within 4–5 years. This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in commercial

glazing, window/door systems, and curtain walling, looking to step into a leadership role and

contribute strategically to the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the processing and design of aluminium window, door, and curtain walling systems

using LogiKal software

• Produce detailed CAD drawings and technical documentation for fabrication and

installation

• Collaborate closely with production and installation teams to ensure seamless delivery

• Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams and clients

• Contribute to product development and process improvement initiatives

• Mentor junior team members and promote technical excellence

• Prepare to transition into a Technical Director role over a 4–5 year period

Qualifications and Experience

• Strong background in commercial glazing, window/door systems, and curtain walling

• Proficient in LogiKal and CAD design software

• Previous hands-on experience in installation and manufacturing, ideally in both SME and

larger business environments

• Robust technical knowledge and problem-solving ability

• Effective communicator with leadership potential

• Able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
