Job Tilte: Aluminium Estimator & Order Processor

Location: Witham, Essex

Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:00am–4:00pm, and Friday 8:00am–3:30pm

 

Job Description

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Estimator & Order Processor to join our team. In this

role, you will be an essential part of the sales function, responsible for providing accurate quotations

and order confirmations to both new and existing customers in a fast-paced environment. You’ll work

closely with the sales team and regular trade clients while ensuring exceptional communication and

customer service standards are maintained.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately process quotes and orders in a timely manner

• Offer technical support to both customers and colleagues when needed

• Prepare and annotate paperwork ahead of production

• Make amendments to customer orders and quotations as required

• Communicate effectively with customers and suppliers, handling queries, technical advice, and

order updates

• Follow up on order confirmations

• Respond to incoming inquiries with timely and professional communication

• Maintain strong relationships with clients by keeping them updated throughout the order

process

• Regularly update schedules and spreadsheets

• Work to meet individual and team targets

• Ensure quotes are completed with accuracy and professionalism

• Follow up with customers for updates or decisions

 

What You Bring

• Familiarity with aluminium windows and doors, or experience using estimating software such as

LogiKal or V6

• Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a busy environment

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

• Strong customer service abilities

• Friendly, approachable, and positive attitude

• Willingness to learn new technical information and product details

• High level of motivation and initiative

 

Desirable Experience

• Background in aluminium product estimating or processing

 

 

 

 

• Previous experience in the fenestration or glazing industry

• Ability to read and interpret customer surveys, technical drawings, and sectional plans
