Job Title: Production Manager – uPVC & Aluminium Windows and Doors

Location: Near Chelmsford, Essex (Rural Setting)

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM

 

About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and hands-on Production Manager to lead

operations at a busy window and door manufacturing facility. This role is ideal for someone with a strong

background in the uPVC and aluminium industry who is looking to grow and make a lasting impact

within a supportive team environment.

As Production Manager, you will take full ownership of the day-to-day activities on the shop floor,

ensuring products are manufactured to the highest standards, operations run efficiently, and health and

safety protocols are maintained.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily running of the production facility

• Monitor and improve productivity and efficiency levels

• Maintain the highest standards of product quality

• Ensure all health and safety procedures are followed

• Manage vehicle loading and ensure on-time, in-full (OTIF) deliveries

• Recruit, train, and manage production staff

• Drive continuous improvement and team development

 

What We’re Looking For

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role within the uPVC industry

• Strong leadership and organisational skills

• A proactive and motivated approach to problem-solving

• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset

• A full UK driving licence

• A positive, can-do attitude and strong work ethic

• Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work independently when needed
