Site Manager

Location: Welling, Kent

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm

 

The Role

Our client is a well-established construction company currently delivering a mixed-use development comprising

residential apartments and commercial units in Welling. With a strong pipeline of current and future projects, they

They are seeking an experienced Site Manager to take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of the site,

ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all day-to-day site activities from construction through to completion.

• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.

• Lead and supervise site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.

• Monitor progress against programme and budget targets.

• Coordinate labour, materials, plant, and equipment requirements.

• Carry out regular site inspections and resolve technical or workmanship issues.

• Ensure work is completed in accordance with drawings, specifications, and regulations.

• Maintain accurate site records, reports, permits, and daily diaries.

• Manage snagging and defect rectification through to completion.

• Attend site meetings and liaise with clients, consultants, and senior management.

• Assist with project handover and close-out documentation.

 

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Site Manager on residential, commercial, or mixed-use developments.

• Strong understanding of construction processes, facades and façade remediation projects and health &

safety legislation.

• Experience managing subcontractors, site programmes, and material procurement.

• SMSTS qualification (essential).

• CSCS Card (essential).

• First Aid at Work certification.

• Full UK Driving Licence and own transport.

• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
