Job Title: Curtain Walling & Window Estimator Location: Bsildon, Essex Job Type: Full-Time Role Overview We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Estimator specialising in aluminium glazing systems to join a growing and well-established organisation. This role focuses on preparing accurate and competitive estimates for curtain walling and window projects, ensuring technical accuracy, cost control, and commercial viability from enquiry through to quotation stage. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting project delivery and securing new business opportunities. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for aluminium curtain walling and window projects • Interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and tender documentation to produce accurate

quotations • Use LogiKal software to generate estimates, technical calculations, and system data • Assess materials, fabrication requirements, labour, and associated project costs • Liaise with suppliers and system houses to obtain pricing and technical information • Identify value engineering opportunities to improve competitiveness and margins • Ensure quotations are commercially sound and aligned with company pricing strategy • Collaborate with sales, technical, and project teams to support tender submissions • Maintain organised records of estimates, revisions, and project documentation • Provide technical clarification and respond to client queries when required

Requirements

• Proven experience estimating curtain walling and aluminium window systems • Strong working knowledge of LogiKal software (essential) • Familiarity with a range of aluminium systems and profile suites • Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and technical specifications • Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills • High attention to detail and excellent organisational ability • Good commercial awareness and understanding of margin management • Strong communication skills and ability to liaise with internal teams and clients
