Job Title: Conservatory & Extension Sales Surveyor

Location: Covering Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Essex, Kent, and Surrey

Position Type: Self-Employed (with opportunity for employed role)

OTE: Realistic 1–3% of Sales

 

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Surveyor to join our growing team, specialising in conservatories and

home extensions. This is a field-based role ideal for someone who enjoys both selling and surveying, offering the opportunity

to work across a strong pipeline of confirmed leads within Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Essex, Kent, and Surrey.

You’ll play a key role in converting customer enquiries into sales, carrying out accurate on-site surveys and delivering tailored

solutions that meet the customer’s needs. With a solid order book already in place, this is a fantastic opportunity to hit the

ground running and achieve a strong income from day one.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-home sales appointments and accurately survey properties for proposed conservatory and extension

installations.

• Provide expert advice on design, materials, and layout options tailored to the customer’s preferences and budget.

• Prepare and present professional quotations, ensuring clarity and accuracy.

• Close sales effectively while delivering a customer-first experience.

• Liaise with the installation and technical teams to ensure smooth project handovers.

• Maintain detailed records using provided laptop and CRM system.

• Build strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals.

 

Requirements:

• Proven experience in sales and/or surveying within the home improvement sector, ideally conservatories or

extensions.

• Strong knowledge of residential building structures, measurements, and construction basics.

• Exceptional interpersonal, presentation, and closing skills.

• Ability to manage time effectively and work independently across multiple locations.

• Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.

• Comfortable using digital tools (e.g. laptop, CRM, email, etc.).
