The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of the fenestration industry, excellent attention

to detail, and the ability to accurately survey domestic properties for manufacture and installation.

Experience with heritage-style products, steel-look systems, and commercial glazing projects would be

This position would suit a professional, organised individual who can work independently while

maintaining high standards of customer service and technical accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out detailed site surveys for residential window and door replacement projects.

• Measure and assess aluminium and uPVC windows, doors, bifolds, sliding doors, and associated

glazing systems.

• Identify and record site-specific requirements including structural considerations, access issues,

and installation challenges.

• Ensure all survey information is accurate and ready for manufacturing and installation teams.

• Liaise with installers, sales teams, and project coordinators to resolve technical queries.

• Advise on suitable product specifications and installation requirements where necessary.

• Conduct final checks to ensure products ordered are fit for purpose and compliant with current

building regulations.

• Maintain professional communication with homeowners, contractors, and site contacts throughout

the process.

Preferred Experience

• Proven experience surveying residential aluminium and uPVC window and door projects.

• Strong understanding of bifold doors, sliding systems, flush sash, and contemporary glazing

products.

• Knowledge of current building regulations and industry standards.

• Experience working with heritage, steel-look, or conservation-style products would be beneficial.

• Commercial glazing or curtain walling experience is advantageous but not essential.

• Ability to read technical drawings and installation specifications.

• Familiarity with surveying software or digital measuring systems preferred.

Skills & Attributes

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.

• Professional and customer-focused approach.

• Good communication skills with both clients and installation teams.

• Full UK driving licence required.
