About the Role Job Title: Project / Account Manager (Glass & Mirror Solutions) Location: Office-based (within reasonable commute) Hours: Monday – Thursday 7:00am – 4:00pm | Friday WFH Salary: £45,000 The Role An established and highly reputable glass processing and supply business is seeking a technically capable and commercially minded Project / Account Manager to manage a portfolio of smaller projects forming part of larger contracts. This role focuses on projects ranging from approximately £3,000 to £200,000 in value, typically running for 2–3 months. You will act as the key point of contact for customers, ensuring strong communication, technical accuracy and successful project delivery. The existing team offers strong technical expertise; this position has been created to enhance client communication, relationship management and proactive project ownership. Key Responsibilities
• Manage multiple live projects simultaneously (circa £3K–£200K value) • Act as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle • Build and maintain strong, professional client relationships • Interpret and discuss client requirements, advising on appropriate glass and hardware solutions • Liaise closely with factory and production teams to ensure delivery timelines are met • Monitor collection and dispatch of glass by subcontractors • Conduct site visits to:
o Check project progress o Resolve technical or logistical issues o Ensure installations meet specifications
• Research and source suitable hardware and specialist components where required • Provide technical input on bespoke or specialist requirements (e.g. steam rooms, saunas, moisture-
sensitive environments) • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and aligned to client expectations
Example of Project Scope For example, a client requiring glass for a steam room or sauna may need specialist hinges and hardware suitable for high-moisture environments. This role involves:
• Discussing performance requirements with the client • Identifying potential technical challenges • Researching and recommending suitable hardware and fittings • Working with production to deliver a compliant, practical solution
Skills & Experience Required Essential:
• Strong technical knowledge within glass, glazing, mirrors or related architectural products • Proven experience in project management or account management within a construction/manufacturing
environment • Excellent communication and customer service skills • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications • Confident liaising with factory/production teams • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously • Comfortable conducting site visits
Desirable: • Experience working with specialist hardware (hinges, fittings, fixings) • Understanding of glass performance in specialist environments (e.g. high humidity areas) • Knowledge of subcontractor coordination
