Job Title: Yard Operative (2 Positions Available)

Hours: 7:00am – 4:00pm (1-hour lunch break)

Location: A5 near redbourn Jct 9 M1

Salary 28k

 

Role Purpose

To support the efficient operation of a well-ordered vehicle storage area by ensuring parking facilities are clean,

organised, and that all space is optimally utilised. This role also includes vehicle preparation, movement, and delivery

duties.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Apply company livery to vehicles to required standards.

• Ensure all parking areas are clean, tidy, and organised.

• Maintain the recycling area, ensuring all waste is stored and disposed of appropriately.

• Inspect vehicles upon receipt and report any damage.

• Allocate cone numbers and park vehicles in designated areas.

• Complete high-standard valeting on all vehicles.

• Prepare vehicles to be ready for client issue.

• Issue vehicles to clients, ensuring all required documentation is completed accurately and efficiently.

• Deliver and collect vehicles from various sites and specialist garages as required.

• Empty bins and move waste to designated collection areas.

• Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the garage area.

• Properly clean and store all cleaning materials and equipment after use.

• Adhere to Health & Safety regulations at all times.

• Undertake any other relevant duties as directed.

Qualifications & Requirements
