Job Opportunity: Plant administrator
Location: St Helens, Merseyside
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrator to support the daily operations of our busy
plant department. Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, your role will involve providing accurate
administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the department.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform general administrative and office duties.
• Create and manage purchase orders for the department.
• Maintain accurate stock levels in in-house computer systems.
• Verify and match invoices for payment against system purchases.
• Liaise with internal teams and external suppliers to resolve queries.
Requirements:
• Preferred but not essential: Experience in a plant/tooling environment.
• Strong IT skills and proficiency in using relevant software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Analytical problem-solving ability.
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Flexible, adaptable, and able to work on your own initiative.
