Job Title: CNC machinist/aluminium window fabricator

Location: Norwich, Norfolk

Employment Type: Full-time

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm (core hours)

 

Job Description

We are looking for a reliable and skilled all-rounder to support the machining and fabrication of

aluminium profiles for windows, doors, and glazing products. This is a hands-on role involved in the full

fabrication process, from receiving job orders through to quality control and occasional on-site

installation support.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Machine aluminium profiles for window, door, and glazing systems

• Fabricate window industry products for sale and installation

• Receive job orders and accurately log them against purchase orders

• Interpret and follow system manuals and technical documentation to ensure accurate machining

• Carry out quality control checks to ensure products meet required specifications

• Provide assistance with on-site installations when required

• Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient workshop environment

 

Requirements

• Previous experience in window, door, or glazing fabrication (preferred)

• Ability to read and understand technical manuals and drawings

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Valid driver’s licence and ability to drive (essential due to location)

• Willingness to assist across multiple areas of the business

• Reliable, adaptable, and able to work independently or as part of a team
