Experienced Window Fitter / Carpenter – Self-Employed

Location: Uxbridge (collection point) / Installations in Ealing & Surrounding Areas

Full-Time | Monday to Friday | Company Van Provided

 

Join a long-established and highly regarded double-glazing installation company, known for delivering

high-quality work and excellent customer service. We're currently looking for a skilled and experienced

Window Fitter / Carpenter to become part of our professional team.

This is a self-employed position with consistent, full-time work available. You’ll be collecting materials

from our well-stocked and organised yard in Uxbridge and carrying out installations in Ealing and nearby

areas. A company van is provided for your use during work hours.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Install vertical sliding sash windows, casement windows, and doors in a variety of materials

including uPVC, aluminium, and timber.

• Ensure all installations are completed to a high standard with attention to detail and quality

workmanship.

• Perform minor making good and decorative finishes around installed products.

• Interact professionally with customers, providing clear communication and a friendly, respectful

approach.

• Maintain a tidy and safe working environment and take care of company equipment and the

provided van.

 

Key Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a lead window fitter.

• Strong background in installing windows and doors made from uPVC, timber, and aluminium.

• Proven experience with casement windows, sash windows, and residential doors in domestic

settings.

• Good decorating skills to complete internal finishes as needed.

• MTC (Minimum Technical Competence) card preferred.

• Excellent communication skills and a customer-friendly attitude.

• Reliable, hardworking, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

• Full UK driving licence (required to operate the company van).
