Job Title: Scheduler & Stock Administrator – Plant Division

Location: Office-based (Full-time)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.00 AM – 5:00 PM

Salary: Competitive, with 28 days holiday + training and development

About the Opportunity

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established, privately owned telecommunications company with a multi-million-

pound turnover. Working within a fast-paced procurement and asset management division, you'll play a key role in

supporting the smooth running of operations involving over 3,000 assets including plant, tools, and machinery, and tens of

thousands of civil engineering stock items.

You'll be part of a dynamic team responsible for maintaining accurate pricing and stock data, processing orders, and

supporting a large internal network of engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and place orders for parts, tools, and stock items

• Ensure all pricing is up to date in the system and resolve any discrepancies

• Liaise with suppliers to arrange delivery schedules and confirm availability

• Book goods out to engineers and field staff

• Manage and query invoices, pricing mismatches, and delivery issues

• Maintain accurate records of stock levels, pricing, and supplier data

• Generate reports and assist with ongoing stock audits and procurement reviews

• Work closely with engineers and internal teams to fulfil stock requirements quickly and efficiently

• Assist with onboarding new suppliers and maintaining the approved supplier list

• Ensure all administrative processes are completed accurately and on time

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in a procurement, stock control, parts ordering, or similar role is highly desirable

• Strong IT literacy with confidence using stock/order management systems and Microsoft Office (especially Excel)

• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

• Ability to work autonomously, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines in a busy environment

• A proactive and problem-solving mindset

• Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with suppliers, engineers, and internal departments

• Experience producing reports and handling data with a high level of accuracy
