Job Title: Technical Sales Consultant – Window & Door Fabrication Software
Location: London (Travel Required)
Industry: Fenestration / Window & Door Manufacturing
Employment Type: Full-Time
About the Role
We’re looking for a dynamic and driven Technical Sales Consultant with hands-on knowledge of window and door
manufacturing — someone who can navigate he factory floor with ease, speak the language of fabrication, and confidently
present and sell our client’s industry-leading software solutions.
You’ll be the bridge between production challenges and digital transformation, working with fabricators to understand their
processes, identify inefficiencies, and demonstrate how our software can revolutionise their operations.
This role requires someone who is all-in, builds strong relationships, and become a trusted expert in both window production
and manufacturing software.
Key Responsibilities
Implementation & Onboarding
• Travel to customer sites to assess production setups.
• Work hands-on with production teams to ensure the software is aligned with real-world factory conditions.
Data Management & Customisation
• Manage technical data: profiles, hardware, glass specs, BOMs, and fabrication rules.
• Ensure system accuracy through deep understanding of window/door system requirements (uPVC, aluminium, or
timber).
Training & Support
• Provide ongoing technical support post-implementation, acting as a trusted advisor.
Internal & External Collaboration
• Collaborate with our development team to translate customer feedback into software improvements.
• Support account retention and growth by ensuring successful onboarding and adoption.
Sales & Relationship Management
• Own the full customer journey from needs assessment to successful rollout.
• Communicate the value of the software clearly and confidently to both business owners and production staff.
• Build long-term customer relationships that drive repeat business and referrals.
Ideal Candidate
• Background in fabrication: Hands-on experience in window/door manufacturing (on the floor or in
technical/production management roles).
• Strong sales orientation: Has worked in a consultative sales environment or is confident in customer-facing
technical roles.
• Industry knowledge: Familiar with uPVC, aluminium, or timber systems and their respective fabrication challenges.
• Excellent communicator: Able to bridge the gap between shop-floor operators and software developers.
• Natural problem-solver: Can walk into a factory, spot bottlenecks, and suggest digital solutions with confidence.
• Willing to travel: Must be open to extensive travel.
• Personality matters: Enthusiastic, personable, resilient — someone customers trust and colleagues enjoy working
with.
