Job Overview

We are seeking experienced FTTP (Fibre to the Premises) Engineers to support nationwide fibre installation projects across

residential and commercial sites. This long-term contract offers consistent work and excellent earning potential. You will be

responsible for full lifecycle fibre deployment including splicing, testing, installations, and customer handovers.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and test fibre optic cables, including both internal and external premises installs

• Perform underground and overhead cabling (duct and pole-based routes)

• Conduct on-site surveys and assess UG/OOH routes

• Read and interpret fibre plans/schematics (Openreach/CityFibre)

• Complete accurate documentation and test records

• Maintain compliance with health and safety (including PPE, lighting and guarding)

• Communicate professionally with clients, landlords, and site contacts

• Troubleshoot faults and carry out connectivity repairs

• Maintain vehicle stock and tools to company standards

• Must be confident working at height

Essential Requirements

Candidates must have the following current or recently expired certifications (refreshers may be available):

1. SA001 – Overhead Safety

2. SA002 – Underground Safety

3. S7 – PIA Underground Cabling or Openreach equivalent (K6 or N28)

4. S8 – PIA Overhead Cabling or Openreach equivalent (N22, E1, N27)

5. Streetworks Unit 2 / 01 – Signing, Lighting & Guarding

6. Valid Network Operator Passport Scheme (NOPS) Card

Additional requirements:

• Willingness to undergo a CRB check

• Manual UK driving licence and experience driving vans

• Willingness to stay away from home when required (accommodation and expenses covered)

Desirable Qualifications

• Confined Space Entry certification

• Familiarity with routers, ONTs, and in-home fibre setup

• Previous experience on Openreach or CityFibre networks

Our client, a busy and fast-paced telecoms support business, is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Office

Assistant to support with day-to-day admin tasks, job invoicing, and estimate updates. This is a varied role

working closely with the scheduling and operations teams to help keep jobs moving smoothly through the

system.

The role is based in an office on an active industrial site. While the environment is a little rough around the edges,

the team is friendly, hard-working, and focused on getting the job done — it's very much a practical, no-frills

setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Raise and update estimates for service and installation jobs

• Generate and issue invoices for completed works

• Close down jobs in the system, ensuring all information is accurate and up to date

• Check that job charges are correctly reflected in both estimates and final invoices

• Assist with general administrative tasks, including data entry and document updates

• Provide ad hoc support to the wider office and scheduling teams as needed

• Previous experience in an office or admin support role

• Confident using spreadsheets, email, and internal systems (training provided)

• Detail-focused with a methodical approach to updating estimates and invoices

• Organised, responsive, and able to juggle multiple admin tasks
