Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Conservatory Sales Consultant to join our
growing team. This is an opportunity for a self-driven sales professional with a proven track record in
conservatory sales or a closely related home improvement sector.
The successful candidate will be responsible for generating their own leads, managing their own
appointments, developing their own sales pipeline, and converting opportunities into sales. You will have
the freedom to manage your own workload while representing a premium conservatory product offering
to homeowners throughout the region.
Key Responsibilities
• Generate and develop your own leads through networking, referrals, prospecting, and local
business development activities.
• Arrange and manage your own customer appointments.
• Conduct in-home consultations with prospective customers.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable conservatory solutions.
• Prepare and present quotations and proposals.
• Manage your own sales pipeline from initial enquiry through to contract completion.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Follow up all opportunities to maximise conversion rates.
• Achieve agreed sales targets and revenue objectives.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, quotations, and sales activity.
• Work closely with design, surveying, and installation teams to ensure a smooth customer journey.
Essential Requirements
• Proven track record of selling conservatories or within a similar home improvement industry.
• Demonstrable history of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Ability to generate your own leads and business opportunities.
• Experience managing your own appointments and sales pipeline.
• Strong closing and negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Own vehicle required.
Desirable Experience
• Background in conservatories, orangeries, glazing, windows and doors, extensions, roofing, or
other high-value home improvement products.
• Experience conducting home consultations and site visits.
• Knowledge of conservatory design and construction principles.
